Organic Certified Copra Meal and Copra Cake

Copra Meal is the  by-product or solid residue of the copra after the fat or the oil is
extracted.  

Copra meal is used as animal feeds. It has high oil levels and protein which is very
fattening for stock.  The copra meal provides a good source of high quality protein.

Copra Meal is a highly digestible feed. The high fibre/protein level is utilised to full
benefit by a high natural  lycine  level uncommon  in other feeds consequently less
feed is  required  to  gain  maximum results, so important  to  animals  whose  small
stomach capacity requires quality rather than quantity.

Copra meal is rich in fibre, its inclusion in pig diets is restricted. Depending on the
other  ingredients  it  may  constitute up  to  25%  of the  total diet.  In  areas  where
coconut meal  is  abundant, and  if  one  is  prepared  to  accept  less efficient feed
conversion, up to 50% can be used.  It produces firm fat in pigs.
